This guide covers nearshore office setup Lima options for US clients hiring through RS Global—including co-working space, equipment, and full onboarding coordination handled without a local entity.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
- RS Global is fully distributed by default. Most of our placed professionals work from a verified home setup in their US client’s time zone.
- If a client wants their hire reporting to an office in Lima instead, we set up offices arrangement. We have done this for multiple clients and we coordinate the space, equipment, and onboarding end to end.
- Every on-site arrangement is custom. The space, equipment, neighborhood, and structure depend on your role. Details and pricing are discussed directly on a call with Ravi or Sunny.
Most US business owners hiring a nearshore professional are comfortable with the person working from a verified home office. Same time zone, real-time collaboration, no commute eating into the work day.
Some are not. Some clients want their hire reporting to an actual workplace five days a week. They want the cost savings of nearshore talent paired with the structure and accountability of an office. Maybe they have been burned by a fully remote arrangement before. Maybe their internal workflow requires it. Maybe they want their hire to feel part of a team, not isolated at home.
For those clients, RS Global sets up a custom co-working arrangement in Lima. We have done this for multiple clients. This post explains exactly what that looks like, why we treat each setup as custom, and how to start the conversation.
Nearshore Office Setup Lima: What On-Site Means at RS Global
To be direct about what we are and what we are not. RS Global does not maintain a permanent shared office in Lima where placed professionals report. We are a fully distributed nearshore staffing firm with a Lima-based team that includes our Operations Manager, Head Recruiter, and HR support, all operating remotely. Our default placement is a fully remote hire working from a verified home workspace.
When a client wants their hire on-site, we build a custom arrangement at a Lima co-working space. We have established relationships in the Lima co-working market, and the setup we deliver to clients includes:
- A dedicated desk at a Lima co-working location (the specific space is selected based on the role, the neighborhood, and the client’s preferences)
- Equipment provisioning to your specification (laptop, monitor, headset, peripherals)
- A verified strong internet connection at the workspace
- Day-one onboarding of your hire to the location
- Operations support from our Lima-based team if anything needs adjusting
You do not set up a Peruvian entity. You do not sign a lease. You do not procure equipment from outside the US. RS Global coordinates all of it. Lima has a growing co-working ecosystem that supports flexible, professional arrangements for international businesses.
Why This Is a Capability and Not a Default
Most clients do not need or want this. Fully remote works for the vast majority of nearshore placements. Same time zone, daily standups, real-time collaboration through the same tools the client already uses. Adding a physical workspace is overhead.
The clients who do want it are usually in one of three situations.
1. They have been burned by fully remote before.
A previous offshore or nearshore hire turned out to be working multiple jobs, or working sporadic hours, or simply not showing up. The client wants visible accountability this time. A workplace solves that. The professional shows up to a desk five days a week and is part of a team.
2. Their workflow needs in-person structure.
Some roles benefit from a structured office environment. A junior employee in their first professional role, a customer service team that benefits from sitting near peers, a role where the client values the cultural cue of “go to work in the morning.” These are situations where the workspace adds value.
3. They want their hire embedded in a professional network.
A co-working space puts the placed professional in a community of other working professionals. Networking, professional growth, ambient accountability. For some roles, that environment makes the placement stickier and the hire more engaged.
If any of these match your situation, the on-site setup is worth a conversation. If your role works well fully remote, do not pay for what you do not need.

Every On-Site Arrangement Is Custom. Let’s Talk About Yours.
There is no template on-site package because there is no template client. The right co-working neighborhood, the right space, the right equipment, the right structure all depend on your role, your industry, your team’s working style, and your preferences.
That is why we treat the details and the pricing as a conversation, not a published menu. On the discovery call with Ravi or Sunny, we walk through what your situation actually needs, what the trade-offs look like, and what the arrangement would cost specifically for your role. You leave the call with a clear picture and no commitment.
The call is free. No upfront cost on the placement itself, and we tell you honestly whether the on-site option is worth the added investment for your specific situation, or whether fully remote will serve you better.
Want to talk about whether an on-site setup fits your role?
The discovery call is with Ravi or Sunny personally. No sales rep, no upfront cost on the placement. We coordinate the details and walk through what the arrangement would look like for your specific role.

How Our Screening Works (Whether On-Site or Remote)
The on-site option does not change how we find your hire. The same custom search runs either way.
Every search starts from zero. RS Global does not maintain a bench of pre-vetted candidates. Once you describe the role on the discovery call with Ravi or Sunny, our Lima-based recruiting team sources 60 to 100 candidates specifically for that role. Three rounds of internal screening run alongside the verification stack. Out of those 60 to 100, only the top 3 to 4 candidates reach your inbox with a written summary, a custom video interview tailored to your company, and the CV.
Our verification stack uses Peru’s government records, not candidate-submitted documents. Identity is verified against the national ID. Employment history runs through Peru’s national payroll database, which catches job stacking. Academic transcripts, background check, credit check, internet speed, and workspace photo are all part of the standard process.
We do not meet candidates in person before they interview with you. Our verification process is documentary and remote, and it is more thorough than any in-person interview would be. We do meet our placed professionals in person at the annual RS Global Lima event, which brings every active placement together face to face once a year. In March 2026 we hosted that event at the Hilton Garden Inn Lima rooftop with accountants, executive assistants, customer service representatives, and developers placed across our US client base.
The Founder Context
Ravi and Sunny Chhatani are co-founders of RS Global. Both were born and raised in Lima, Peru. Ravi built his US career as a consultant at Morgan Stanley and spent 12 years in mid-sized business management across five countries. Sunny worked as a Business Analyst at Sinclair Broadcasting Group and as a corporate accounting manager at McCormick on the Cholula brand.
They built RS Global to open doors for Peruvian professionals at a time when youth unemployment in Peru approached 20 percent. The Lima co-working setups are part of that. When clients want a structured on-site role for their hire, the placement becomes more visible, more accountable, and often more durable. The hire is part of a real workplace, not isolated at a kitchen table.
“When you work with RS Global, you work with the owners. Ravi and Sunny take every discovery call personally because understanding your business is the first step in finding the right person for it.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Does RS Global have a permanent office where my hire would work?
Not a permanent shared office. RS Global is a fully distributed nearshore staffing firm. When a client wants their hire working from an office in Lima, we set up a co-working arrangement custom to that client. We have done this before for multiple clients and we coordinate the space, equipment, and onboarding so the client does not have to set up a foreign entity or sign a lease.
How does a co-working office setup work for my hire?
Once you tell us during the discovery call that you want your hire on-site, we coordinate a Lima co-working space, secure a dedicated desk, provision equipment to your spec, verify a strong connection at the workspace, and onboard your hire to the location. Your hire reports to that workspace Monday through Friday in your US time zone. The client does not sign a lease, set up a foreign entity, or buy equipment from outside the US.
How are the details and pricing handled for the on-site setup?
Every on-site arrangement is custom. The space, equipment, neighborhood, and structure depend on the role and the client. We walk through all the details on the discovery call with Ravi or Sunny and share specifics for your situation directly. There is no template price because there is no template arrangement.
Why would I want my hire in an office instead of working from home?
Some clients prefer in-office structure for accountability, collaboration, or because their workflow requires it. Others have been burned by fully remote arrangements. The co-working setup gives the cost savings of nearshore talent with the structure of an office, without you taking on an international real estate commitment.
Does RS Global have a real presence in Peru?
Yes. RS Global operates a registered Peruvian legal entity, RS Staffing Group Peru SAC. Our Lima-based team includes Leticia Contreras Dominguez as Operations Manager and Manuel Castillo-Luna as Head Recruiter. Our HR team is also Lima-based. We are a fully distributed company, not a shared office, but our Peruvian presence is real and legal.
Do you meet candidates in person before they interview with me?
We do not meet candidates in person before client interviews. Our screening process runs through a 3-round internal vetting (skills, English fluency, cultural fit), and our verification stack runs in parallel: national ID, employment history through Peru’s government payroll database, academic transcripts, background check, credit check, internet speed, and workspace photo. Once your hire is placed, our Lima-based team meets them in person at our annual Lima event, where the placed professionals across our US client base gather face to face.
The Bottom Line
If you want your nearshore hire working from home in your US time zone, that is what we deliver by default. Same time zone, verified workspace, 92 percent retention. If you want your hire reporting to an office instead, we have set that up for clients before and we can do it again. Every arrangement is custom. The right way to start is a conversation about your specific role. Our nearshore office setup Lima solution is a structured alternative to fully remote hiring, designed for US clients who want their hire visible, accountable, and part of a real workplace.
The discovery call with Ravi or Sunny is the right place to figure out which option fits and what it would look like.
