  • Will my remote employee be able to access my systems if they are working from a different country?
    Yes, most companies provide a VPN for their offshore employees. It usually costs around $5 per month per user. We recommend NordVPN.
  • How will I be able to track the performance of my remote worker?
    You can request that the remote worker install a tracking software (i.e ActiveTrak) to have the clock in, clock out, check their productivity and even record what are they doing during their working hours.
  • Can I ship equipment to my remote worker?
    Yes, we can assist during this process.
  • Will my remote worker have fast speed internet?
    Yes, most Latin American countries have private fiber optic internet (faster than most European countries). We make 'fast speed internet' a requirement in our contracts. We can also run an internet speed test.
  • How can I get my remote worker a US line?
    There are multiple service providers that offer VOIP (voice over internet protocol) phone services. We are more than happy to connect you with one. The average cost per line is $20 per month per user. All of your inbound phone calls will be received by your remote worker as if your client was dialing a US line. All of the outbound calls made by your remote worker will appear as a US line to your customers.
  • How do I deduct the cost of my remote worker on my taxes?
    Since the payment will be issued to R&S Consulting, LLC, you would simply account the cost for the remote worker as a consulting fee. We will handle all foreign contractor (W8BEN) tax implications & local labor law regulations.
